Assistant Director

Remuneration: Basic to £95,000 + Bens + Bonus

My Client is one of the world's leading independent financial advisers on public and private transactions.

Assignment Details

Role:

Corporate Finance advises across a range of product areas including M& A, Debt and Project Financing, Valuations and Private Equity to Governments, Multinational corporates and mid market companies.

This combined with their level of deal activity and deep sector knowledge has given them a great exposure to a wide range of industry and global markets.

This role will be working within the Infrastructure and Government team.

This team is a leading financial adviser on debt financing and PPP/PFI/ Project Finance transactions to public and private sector clients based in the UK and overseas, in the following sectors: defense, Education, Energy & Natural Resources, Health, IT & Telecoms and Real Estate.

The role Offers a wide ranging advice in relation to major projects, from feasibility studies, through project structuring, evaluation & negotiation, through to financial close and post-contract services (such as refinancing & variations)

Based in the London office, this role will be at Associate Director level, ensuring that direct reports at Manager and associate level carry out work to a high quality level.

Reporting to a Director or Partner to ensure delivery of successful deal/transactions.

Responsibilities

Project managing internal team and external advisers

Undertaking and supporting pitching for new business with ideas, market intelligence and sector knowledge

Leading business development initiatives

Building and maintaining relationships with clients and target clients and key market constituents to provide fee earning opportunities

Introducing opportunities to financial investors Supervising the production and evaluation of financial models with the capability to sensitize key inputs and stress test financial covenants
Performance management, coaching and mentoring junior staff as required.

Experience

Relevant experience gained in a related environment. A project finance background would be beneficial
