Database and contingency search
The database holds current CV's for candidates actively looking for new work and gathered from ongoing assignments. CV's and profiles are sourced from in-house and client-paid advertising, search assignments, web based research and networked/market intelligence.
Managed and updated with sophisticated search software this knowledgebase is the strength of the business. It provides the networking contacts which form the basis for search assignments and can often provide a suitable candidate for a vacancy without a search or advertised selection process.
Process and timescale
A meeting or phone call is arranged to discuss the requirements. These are discussed and agreed. If necessary, we will prepare a recruitment brief and job specification, ideally meeting with the appropriate recruiting manager/s. Fees are agreed.
Based on these discussions a comprehensive search of the database is carried out, to include some networking if appropriate.
Suitable candidates are interviewed and briefed for the role.
A shortlist is presented supplying CV’s, salary details and consultant's screening interview comments. This may only take a few days.
We will arrange interviews for individuals to meet you. We will co-ordinate and relay all feedback and arrange second and subsequent interviews as necessary.
We will make recommendations on the remuneration packages to be offered to the selected candidates; convey the offers to the successful candidates; liaise at all times with yourselves and the candidates particularly with regard to negotiation of the remuneration package and taking the candidates through to signature.
Prior to resignation we will coach the chosen candidates on strategy for resignation and how to respond to counter-offers.
